An Old Dog Learning A New (Magic) Trick (PRVT.. ish)

For Eos and Jack and Adonia if she wants to join XD or whoever wants to break them apart once the fight is done... I mean... PIE!!))

Eos sat in the middle of the magic rings, legs crossed, eyes closed, and tried very hard to at least make a spark. Concentration alone wasn't doing much. After a few futile minutes he started to get pissed off. Why can't I do this?! He sent the question echoing through thte universe. It was ridiculous. He was the son of a god, and he couldn't use magic. Yet some plain humans could. He tried to remember the days when he used meditation to control his anger, and how he felt closer to the 'warm' feelings when he did that.

So he rotted himself to the ground and consentrated on breathing, letting his body go and becomeing apart of the world, not an idividual. He reached up, up, up into the familiar ball of fire, of swimming light, and summer days, of atoms breaking apart, to the warmth that was originally a secret of the gods.

A little bit of warmth was born into his hands, and it grew, until it seemed substantial. He opened one eye and was pleasantly surprised to see a small fire blazing above his hands.

"F*ck yeah."

And then Jack came and dumped water over the teachers hands, a smile on his face as he watched the hard earned fire fizzle out. "Well done blondie" he laughed cruelly and slid down his spear that was stuck in the ground, to sit casually on the ground where he played with some gold coins in, flipping them across his knuckles skillfully before palming the money. He slid the beads of the strand in his hair and rolled them around in his other hand, watching the liquid in the hollow one slosh around. "We need ta talk"

Eos bit his lower lip, damn. He knew Jack had a right to be mad.. or thought he had a right to be mad. It wasn't like he and Adonia were doing anything, she was crying and he asked her what was wrong. As simple and inoccent as that. And she was a student and that would be wrong on so many levels. If he said any of this... he didn't think Jack would listen to him, or believe him.

"About what?" he asked, even though he knew exactly what Jack was talking about. And he was a little pissed about Jack throwing water on his fire. It took him all of.. almost an hour to make a flame.

((Oh noes... Jack has more HP...))

"DIVN'T ACT LIKE YE DIVN'T NAR!!!" He yelled, fury barely contained as his muscled twitched in the anticipation of a fight. Eyes turning from their usual playful blue to the tone of an angry sea, anger and strength burning and twisting behind his visible eye, blood dripping from underneath his eyepatch. With a strong arm he yanked the steel spear out of the ground and ice snaked out from underneath him, the atmosphere seeming to turn more icy and cold. "Like I said 'afore...." a spike of ice shot out of the ground right in front of Eos "We need ta talk..."

((Ffffff, makes me so happy. C: Eos: D: Me: yeah sure I'm worried for you but... *grabs popcorn*))

Damn, Eos thought again. He didn't want to hurt him, Jack seemed like a nice kid... for Adonia at least. But he seemed like he wanted to fight, and Eos wasn't going to deprive him of that if that was what he really wanted.

"Alright," he said still sitting, bvut reached behind himself to grab Eosperos (his dory which is a spear with two sharp ends... the butt is smalled). "I just hugged her, I don't even think of Adonia like that."

"I divn't even want yer to speak her name, ye Greek coward" he growled and with a fierce jab, lashed out at the demi-god, snarling in the process and while he swung with the spear, he mulititasked and hit out with a fist. Aiming to break the jaw and wound the stomach.

((Oh Fiz-uck. So are we going to use the dice roll? Go to the fancy reply not quick and use the 20 sided one b/c you're staff. C:

Ai gamisu, he thought grumpily. Screw it, if the boy wanted a fight, he was going to get one.

Eos rolled away and onto his feet, but not fast enough. Jack fist swooshed harmlessly past his face. But his spear just grazed his side. Leaving a small cut.

Eos sighed. He wasn't in the mood to fight. But he boy was trying to piss him off. He held Eosperos up parellel to the ground with his right hand, and waited for Jack again.

Jack hit hard against the spear, sparks from steel on the other unknown metal from the teachers spear, flying off and singing his skin where they landed. Then while the teacher was preoccupied with trying to keep up his defense he raised his knee to try and wound some rather delicate pieces of anatomy...

Eos tried his very best to dodge, but was already defending with her spear and just his spear. He certainly wasn't explecting Jack to aim at that. Ok, well maybe he was, he did basically dare him to with an old Greek phrase...

He winced and his leg buckled, but as Jack went for another blow with his spear, Eos got to his feet and took the opportunity to turn on his heel and try to hit Jack with the smaller, but still sharp, end side of his dory, in the shoulder. Aiming to incapacitate him.

Jack winced and that was all he would give the goddamn spartan. Pulling back and ripping his own shoulder free from the dory, he rolled it to get an ache and and aimed the flat end of his spear to the side of Eos' head, he was gonna either kill him or discombobulate him...either one would do but the latter would be less messy.

Eos dodged again, damn the boy was fast. The blunt end of his spear very nearly impaled him. But Eos was fast as well, and it only grazed him again. But did hit his temple. He shook it off. No time to be a pansey in a fight.

Eos threw his spear out in an arch. The sharper larger side toward Jack, trying to gain some distance or slice him in the gut.

The spear bit painfully but Jack didn't want to show the emotion on his face. Blood was quickly leaking into his tattered shirt and the long line of crimsom grew, but Jack fought forward still, swiping, jabbing, hitting, kicking, biting. He swung for Eos' legs, savage fury in his eyes

Eos blocked with the pole of his dory, but Jack's spear still bit into one of his legs, too much force behind it to be stopped but anything but flesh. Ouch.. he winced again.

Eos went for the other shoulder, limping foward a step, this time with the long end of the dory. There was no way the silly little water nymph was winning this fight.

Jack snarled as the dory went straight through his shoulder, it appeared out of his back so instead of quitting and falling to the floor, Jack switched his weapon hand a swung again, the attack made with renewed fevor. Blood saturated his cotton shirt around the shoulder and around the stomach where Eos had caught him. His shoulder sent pains shooting through his body as the more he attacked the more the bone around his shoulder started to crack.

Eos winced at his own attack. Jack's shoulder was making.. some rather horrible sounds. He flinched as it made it's way through his shoulder.

Instead of quiting, or even pauseing, Jack attacked again. Catching Eos on the side. Just a slice more of blood, and a little more pain.

"Jack, stop," he said in the most authoritive voice he could muster. He let go of his spear and stepped back, letting it daggle from Jack's shoulder. There was no way he was going to pull that out, it would only cause more damage. Speaking as someone who could move his arm above his head, from a shoulder wound kind of like that one, he didn't want to cause that in someone else.

Throwing his spear into the dust, Jack took a firm grip on the teachers spear and pulled hard, snarling as the spear slid and lodged and then continued to come back out of his shoulder. With one final roar Jack yanked the spartans spear out of his shoulder and threw it to the teachers feet, the metal covered in blood.

He clutched at his shoulder straight away as blood poured from the wound and with a furious glare at Eos he spat at the dirt in front of the teacher and walked off as proudly as he could, his own blood seeping through his fingers.

((Eos may have won the battle but the war has just begun MWAHAHAHA >XD))

Eos sighed, and follorwed the water nymph as he left a rather morbid looking trail of blood. Eos hated the color.

He hoped he was going to the infirmary... he would force him to if he wasn't.

"FECK OFF!!!" he roared to the teacher behind him, the force hurting his almost shattered shoulderblade "I'M NOT A FECKIN' BABE I CAN HANDLE MESEL!!!"
